Permission to Slow DownThere is a place of wonder and delight that potentially exists, literally at your fingertips ALL THE TIME.

 

When is the last time you truly slowed your body down?

 

 

 

 

And paused your busy brain.

And JUST NOTICED.

Noticed the incredible myriad of sensation that is available to you.

Your kinesthetic awareness

of YOUR SELF.

 

If you feel like you don’t have time for this

or the mental space

or the energetic bandwidth…

 

I give you permission to slow down

{Not that you need MY permission…

but sometimes a nudge, an invitation, a calling from somewhere outside of your own system…}

 

But it IS a calling from within

that WANTS YOUR ATTENTION

those sensations

the subtle ones

that you can only hear, see, FEEL

when you

SLOW DOWN

have such detailed

intricate

interesting

information

for you.

 

They are the sparks of vitality

The drops of vibrancy

They are the notifications

of what adjustments to make

where to check in

how to MOVE

So that

YOU

can FEEL

MORE

LIKE

YOU

Slowing down isn’t something you can rush.

 

You can’t quickly

SLOW DOWN

Notice

FEEL

Then check it off your list and move on.

 

You have to linger there a while.

Hang out with your self.

With your sensations.

With your breath and all those muscles.

 

Then

Even if it’s only been a few moments

If you really dipped in

Found a sweet spot

Your mind will be changed

Your perspective shifted

You may look different to yourself

Everything around you may look a little different.

 

THIS is practical magic.

It is nothing special.

 

Just

YOU

noticing

YOU.

 

Actually, I can’t think of anything MORE special.

You have permission.

Slow down.
